   We tailor our services to meet our clients' needs. Consultations can be scheduled to address specific issues, to acquire plant recommendations for particular areas, to gain advice on maintenance issues such as pruning or as a first step toward  a long-range plan.

Assessment Visits

  Work with new clients, begins with an in-depth consultation. These visits typically last two hours during which we can assess existing plantings, discuss clients' goals for their property, and make recommendations for moving forward..  The cost is $150.

     Dale's designs emphasize native plants for their ease of culture and benefit to wildlife, as well as the sense of place they evoke, however she also recommends some non-invasive exotics:    

 "As much as I wish everyone had the bright yellow blooms of our native Spicebush to brighten up winter, I couldn’t do without my Japanese Flowering Apricot’s pink January flowers."
